A busing company and a school district are being sued after a Highland Middle School student suffered exposure to a noxious chemical discharged from an air vent directly under his seat. The family of the student is suing Webber Transportation and Anderson Community Schools, claiming severe and permanent symptoms after the incident. ACS terminated the contract with Webber in 2014 after Indiana State Police found multiple maintenance violations on the company’s buses.
