A Muncie teen set to go on trial this week for murder had his case postponed until May 23rd. 17-year-old D’ante Davis and 20-year-old Treyvon Bennett are charged with two counts of attempted murder and aggravated battery from an incident last May. Two people were shot near 8th & Grant streets, including a seven-year-old boy playing in a nearby yard, and the 17-year-old teenager whom prosecutors say was the target. Davis remains in custody. Bennett is out on bond.
