Free tax help for filers is available beginning today at several locations in the area. Trained volunteers from the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA) are offering the free help at several locations, including the Maring-Hunt Library in Muncie, the Eaton Community Center in Eaton, and the Muncie-Delaware County Senior Center, among others. The Library is open beginning Wednesday and offers help through Tax Day.
