A two-car crash on a busy Anderson thoroughfare has claimed the life of an Anderson woman. Police say 80-year-old Betty Jane Cole died at Community Hospital after suffering severe chest injuries. The accident occurred at 7:18 a.m. Thursday at Thornewood Drive and Scatterfield Road. Two other people also suffered injuries.
