Delaware Community Schools is dropping health insurance for its part-time employees. The board ok’d the change earlier this week to no longer offer health coverage, life insurance, long term disability or accidental death and dismemberment insurance. Now new part time employees can choose dental and vision coverage, and group life insurance with AD&D coverage. 39 employees are affected. Part time employees already on an insurance plan will keep their benefits.
