A Muncie man who pleaded guilty to burglary and strangulation in December for breaking in to his girlfriend’s apartment and attacking her has been sentenced. 36-year-old Tyjuan McCraney received a 30-month sentence, with the first year on home detention and then 18 months’ probation. The man has previous convictions for attempted robbery and drug possession.
