Muncie man faces years in prison over fake heroin

The man who sold Muncie police fake heroin for $130 remains in jail. John Swafford, Jr. reportedly told the Sheriff’s department that he ‘sells drugs only when he needs the money” and admitted the heroin was “possibly fake.” He’s charged with a Level 5 felony dealing in a lookalike substance, which could land him in prison for six years. The white substance is being tested at the Indiana State Police lab.
