A 22-year-old Anderson man is charged with attempted murder after being accused of shooting a Muncie man. Dvante Strong is in the Delaware County jail with $55,000 bail. Muncie police say the victim found Strong outside his mother’s home near Second and Elm streets last night and began to fight. The victim told police Strong fired shots at him and he feared he would be killed. He suffered a minor wound to the hand and was treated at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. Strong was arrested by police a short time later, and they say they found drugs in his vehicle. He was on probation for a Marion county drug case.
