A popular Yorktown restaurant caught fire early this morning in the 9000 block of West Smith St. Fire crews were called about 3 a.m. to the former El Rancho Poblano building where flames were visible through the roof. The owners had moved out last fall and moved into the former Brother Jimmy’s location two doors down. The cause of the fire is not yet known, and the state fire marshal will investigate.
