A skydiving accident on New Year’s Day has claimed the life of a 54-year-old woman from Martinsville. Police in Johnson County say while her parachute DID open, they are unsure what caused Theresa Woods to impact the ground. She was found unresponsive in a field just to the south of her intended target.
