The Madison County Council unanimously voted to raise the hourly pay rate from $19.24 to $25.01 for 911 Dispatch operators at the Tuesday night council meeting. That’s a 30% increase, effective immediately. Appealing to the council for the increase, Jenny Chambers, Disptatch Center Director said the center handles calls for 17 agencies.
