Gas Line Issue Leads To Home Explosion

A home in southern Randolph County was destroyed in an apparent natural gas explosion Tuesday evening. The explosion was reported at 6:46 p.m. Tuesday in the 4000 block of Randolph County Road 950 South, reports the Star Press. A gas line to the home had been worked on earlier, and the explosion took place when a female occupant tried to light a stove. She and a man inside the home were injured.
