Former Muncie Deputy Mayor Accepts Position at Sanitary District

As we told you first on WMUN News Radio Wednesday, the recently defunded and then resigned Muncie Deputy Mayor has already landed a new job – HR Director for the Muncie Sanitary District, according to a release from the City of Muncie. Tomorrow, we’ll share some information that wasn’t in that release that people are talking about.


They should re-open for school in Elwood tomorrow, after computer network issues forced them, to cancel classes for a few days there, WISH-TV had that.


Now that Election Day is passed, how about thinking about helping someone, by ringing a bell for the Salvation Army in Muncie. Major Curtiss Hartley said on WMUN’s Delaware County Today that many are still needed. Again, RegisterToRing.org.


Doug Eckerty, leader of the Scholar House told a community group last week that he hopes to fill up Scheidler apartments with the program targeted at single mothers with young children seeking a college education, as they prepare to work with Ball State on that project.

Storer Estates is getting close, according to Muncie mayor Dan Ridenour. He told us Friday that November 12th is the closing on the property by developers, with a model home to be completed soon after, and then 4 – 6 spec homes to be built in the spring.
