Money Laundering Charges Filed In Alleged Cryptocurrency Scam

A one-time Noblesville resident is accused of money laundering by accepting cryptocurrency from a dark web marketplace and exchanging it to the tune of millions of U.S. dollars. CBS 4 reports Maximiliano Pilipis, 53, has been charged with five counts of money laundering and two counts of willfully failing to file a tax return through his business, AurumXchange.
