A U.S. District Court jury found a former New Castle police officer guilty of battering arrestees. According to the Star Press, a jury convicted 46 year old Aaron Jason Strong of deprivation of rights under color of law and one county of witness tampering. He was indicted in 2022 as federal prosecutors alleged at that time that Strong had physically abused three arrestees.
