Anderson firefighters with assistance from several area departments battled a fire at the Dollar General store at the intersection of 38th Street and Columbus Avenue Friday. The Dollar General at that location went up in flames and authorities say it looks to be a total loss. No word at this time concerning what may have started the blaze.
