A Muncie mother on Monday was sentenced to 14 years in prison for her role in her infant daughter’s 2016 death. The Star Press reports 34 year old Tricia Kay Cavanaugh pleaded guilty on Sept. 3 to neglect of a dependent resulting in serious bodily injury. Investigators said the infant had died while sleeping in the same bed with Cavanaugh, who had reportedly ingested controlled substances
