A new north gateway into downtown is under development at the intersection of High, Wysor and Franklin streets. According to the Star Press, the plans call for creation of a landscaped area at the point created by the intersection of High and Franklin streets. The project’s design will include letters that spell Muncie, and behind the letters will be an image in the shape of White River as it flows through Muncie.
