A Dunkirk man has struck a deal with Jay County prosecutors and pleaded guilty to a charge stemming from a fatal overdose. 33 year old Cody Alan Brenner was charged in April with dealing in a controlled substance resulting in death. Brenner, in September 2023, dealt what was believed to be a mixture of fentanyl and heroin to a juvenile, who in turn provided the substance to the man who later overdosed.
