A U.S. District Court jury in Indianapolis on Wednesday found former Muncie police officer Corey Posey not guilty of obstruction of justice. The Star Press reports the 32-year-old Posey in 2023 twice stood trial on allegations he submitted a false police report. In both of those trials, juries were unable to reach unanimous verdicts, resulting in mistrials.
