July 13, 2024, 1,100 athletes from 19 countries and 42 states within the United States will compete with first wave of swimmer starting at just before 7 a.m. ET. It is expected that the final finishers will be at at about 4:15 p.m. According to Ken High from Ironman, if there are any changes to the schedule for weather or any other reason, the best source is the event Facebook Page.
In and around the Prairie Creek Reservoir area and along US 35 from the Muncie Bypass to Blountsville. The bike portion will go from 6am to 2:30pm and the run portion will take place from 7am to 5pm. Please consider these times while traveling. Consider alternate routes to avoid the area – or expect delays. Follow signals from law enforcement or traffic control before pulling into oncoming athlete traffic.
