Officials with the town of Lapel expect to hire a town manager by the end of the year. According to the Herald Bulletin, Lapel Town Council on Thursday approved job descriptions for a full-time town manager and a part-time administrative assistant. Projected salary for the town manager’s position will be in the $90,000-per-year range.
