By a divided vote, the Anderson Community School board has approved a policy on when board members can visit area schools. The Herald Bulletin reports ACS board voted Monday by a vote of 4-3 to adopt the policy that will require board members to schedule times to visit teachers and schools. It would require the scheduling of meetings, and the visitations are voluntary and up to the discretion of the employees.
