Three people were injured Monday morning when a small plane crashed onto the Cardinal Greenway west of the Delaware County Airport — the plane’s pilot and two people who were talking on the greenway. According to the Star Press, it happened at about 10:30am. The plane apparently was approaching the airport from the north or northwest when it struck trees before coming down on the greenway. All three victims were taken by ambulance to IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.
