Robot Pizza Maker On Ball State Campus

Ball State University President Geoffrey Mearns didn’t know…

That’s a tongue in cheek comment about the robotic pizza making machine recently announced in a release, from yesterday Live on WMUN news radio.  Hear the whole interview on This Week in Delaweare County this weekend.


In recognition of Black History Month, Friday, February 16 at 7:30 p.m., Emens Auditorium will host the Sounds of Zamar Gospel Choir.  The word “Zamar”  is Hebrew, a musical term for “Praise.”  Bob Meyers at BSU says this performance is free and open to the public.

Ball State University is hosting an event celebrating the legacy of social reformer Frederick Douglass with a special performance, “The Frederick Douglass Jazz Works,” which is free and open to the public, at 7:00 p.m. on February 22nd at the University’s John J. Pruis Hall.  The creator and composer is Ruth Naomi Floyd – who will meet with Ball State students, and present a concert for local middle and high school students, and some of her ensemble will conduct a master class in the School of Music.


Huge Radio day for sports tomorrow on our WMUN:  10 a.m. Coaches Corner, BSU women’s basketball at 12:40 p.m., BSU men at 3:10 p.m., then high school boys basketball at 7:00 p.m.  All on 92.5 FM and 1340 AM.


The shootings in Kansas City this week prompted us to ask Delaware County Sherrif Tony Skinner for advice, if we end up in one of those situations…
