An arrest early Tuesday after a clerk was shot at a convenience store in northwest Muncie. It happened Monday night at the Village Pantry, 3301 N. Morrison Road, where a female employee was shot in the leg. She’s in stable condition. Police tracked down a suspect identified as 24 year old Joel Paul Russell who allegedly used a handgun to fire shots into the store, then entered the building and shot the clerk.
