Eight local communities and Madison County are requesting $2.3 million in food and beverage tax funds. The Herald Bulletin reports the Madison County Council of Governments has a subcommittee consisting of the mayors of Alexandria and Elwood, a Madison County Commissioner and representative from Pendleton that will review the requests.
