Madison, Hancock and Henry counties reported 911 lines were out for a period of time Tuesday night, asking that emergency needs be texted to 911. The outage was reported by Madison County EMA just before 6pm. The service was reported to be back in operation just before 8:30. Officials remind you that voice is always best, but when that’s not possible, you can text to 911.
