A Muncie resident is on trial this week on charges he killed a local man who had allowed him to stay at his home. According to the Star Press, 34 year old Jason De’Andre Harris is charged with murder, criminal confinement, unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon, obstruction of justice and theft in the February 2022 slaying of Erik Sparks.
