A former Muncie attorney convicted of battering a child in a local restaurant has been placed on probation for two years. According to the Star Press, 45 year old Michael P. Quirk was found guilty of battery on a person less than 14 years old after grabbing the chest of a 12 year old boy while intoxicated.
