Muncie resident 24-year-old Ricky Lamiez Taylor has been charged with 11 crimes since mid-August. Taylor’s most recent count — filed November 20th in Delaware Circuit Court 4 — is the most serious, stemming from the September overdose death of a local teenager which could carry up to 40 years in prison.  Star Press says a 17-year-old student at Cowan High School died of an overdose on September 16th. Toxicology tests indicated he died as a result of acute fentanyl and cocaine intoxication.


“Stopping MAGA in Indiana.”  That was the headline of a press release yesterday from the Indiana Democratic Party that raised some eyebrows.  They took issue with Jim Banks running for the seat to be opened when Mike Braun’s term ends. The press release asked for donations, but did not name any of the Democratic candidates.
