Plans for The Village commercial district are coming into greater focus. The Ball State University-initiated development includes a Performing Arts Center with an accompanying hotel. The Star Press reports the hotel planned for McKinley and University avenues will be a Hilton Tapestry brand boutique hotel, featuring two restaurants and using parking in the McKinley Street parking garage. The Performing Arts Center will be in the same building, to the north along McKinley Avenue.
