This is the week –  The Salvation Army is taking applications for Christmas help for one week only – this week. That includes their programs and our two Heroes and Helpers events. 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. each day this week, get to the Muncie location with all the info they require.

30 year old Anderson man named Thong Nguyen who immigrated from Vietnam has been arrested after he allegedly touched a child inappropriately while working at Lux Nails on Thursday.  According to the affidavit, police watched video surveillance. The documents said that the video seemed to support the claims, according to Fox 59.

Michigan State issued an apology Saturday night after an image of Adolf Hitler was displayed on the videoboard before the Spartans’ home game against Michigan.  The image appeared as part of a trivia question about Hitler’s place of birth.


More on an honor we first reported on last week – Kimberly S. Dowling, Judge, Delaware Circuit Court 2, is the 2023 winner of the annual Excellence in Public Information and Education Award.  The award from the Indiana Judges Association was specifically nominated for her work in educating the public about child victims of human trafficking and how to identify those children.


Cops do more that you know – many agencies are involved with Heroes and Helpers, including the Delaware County Sheriff’s office, and Tony Skinner told me last week on WMUN, they have plans to do other things, too
