Muncie City Council has put the brakes on plans for a new Fire Station No. 6 on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. According to the Star Press, Mayor Dan Ridenour has described living conditions as unsafe and deplorable, by tabling a resolution to move ahead with replacing the station.
