Commission Will Hold Field Hearings On Water Rate Increase Request

The Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission began conducting public field hearings on the water rate increase requested by Indiana American Water on June 29 in Fishers. According to the Star Press, the utility, which provides water and wastewater services in Muncie, is asking the state for a rate increase that would boost its revenues in three steps by 31% starting in January next year.
