A Muncie woman has been sentenced to 40 years in prison for her role in an acquaintance’s fatal overdose. 33 year old Vera Morgan was found guilty of dealing in a controlled substance resulting in death. She was accused of selling heroin, in October 2020, to a 32-year-old Muncie woman who a few hours later overdosed and died.
