Two people were shot late Sunday night in what Muncie police are calling an accidental shooting. It happened on the 300 block of North Monroe Street. Police say 39 year old Willie Smith accidentally shot himself and then the bullet struck another man in the arm. Smith is in the ICU with a gunshot wound to the head. The Muncie paper reports the other victim’s wound was not life-threatening.
