Broken Cell Doors Causing Issues At Madison County Lock Up

Broken cell doors at the Madison County Jail has the sheriff looking to house some inmates elsewhere. Seven doors in all aren’t working right and the hope is to move 25 inmates to other counties at a cost of $40 per day per inmate until the problem can be fixed. Repairs to the doors could reportedly cost up to $120,000. No word yet on precisely where those inmates could end up.
