Old National Bank is shutting down branches in Muncie and Yorktown as ATM’s and online banking now guide the industry. The Star Press reports the branch at 2700 W. Jackson St. will close on April 24 and consolidate with the company’s downtown location,nor far away. The branch at 9213 W. Smith St. in downtown Yorktown will be consolidated into the Tillotson Square branch, about four miles away. The Yorktown location will close May 5.
