A Muncie man accused of striking and killing a pedestrian outside a northside Muncie tavern has surrendered to police. 41-year-old Aaron Harmon is held in the Delaware County jail under a $55,000 bond. The Star Press reports that he is charged with two counts of aggravated battery, leaving the scene of a traffic accident resulting in death, and reckless homicide in the death of Matthew Smith in the parking lot of Cheers Tavern.
