The assistant sports editor for the Ball State Daily News has been named a finalist for the Ernie Pyle Reporter of the Year award. Zach Piatt, a junior from Ft. Wayne, is one of 10 students from across the country and the only student from an Indiana college or university to be recognized as a finalist.
