Madison County employees traveling overnight for conferences and meetings will see an increase on their daily meal allowance. The county commissioners have voted to raise the $24 daily meal allowance to $45. The Herald Bulletin reports that the commissioners also increased the daily parking allowance from $20 per day to not more than 30.
