Madison County deputies were searching for evidence in another case, when they stumbled upon something they weren’t expecting. Sheriff Scott Mellinger says the body of a deceased male was found shortly before 9 a.m. at the Rangeline Nature Preserve. The case is being investigated as a homicide and there is a “person of interest”.
