The Anderson Redevelopment Commission has received appraisals for land adjacent to the Nestle plant. The 44 acres are split by a rail spur used by the plant where owner Walt Bagot says railcars are parked for days at a time, preventing any development. Richard Symmes of the Redevelopment Commission said no purchase should be made until there is a specific project.
