A New Jersey developer failed to meet a deadline and has been fired by the the mayor and the Muncie Redevlopment Commission a week after being hired. Officials say Sora Northeast was to oversee the White River Canal District development. A condition of the hiring was for the firm to produce a $2 million equity investment, which the company failed to do.
