The American Legion, Fairmount Post 331 is scheduled to host a 50-year-to-the-day commemoration of a local heroes’ Major Robert Pardo and 1st Lt. Stephen Wayne’s aerial combat actions over Vietnam. The ceremony will take place at the Fairmount post on Saturday, May 20 at 1 p.m.
A “Salute to Vietnam Veterans” will also take place.
