Plans to modernize the Muncie Fieldhouse remain slow in coming. Muncie Community Schools superintendent Steven Baule had hoped to have some news six or so weeks after a September 13 meeting on the matter. He says now, 11 weeks later, that he is working on plans still with an architect about how best to handle renovations on an 88 year old building with settling issues. Baule says he doesn’t want to rush ahead now and end up in the same situation three of four years from now, where more repairs are needed.
