An Anderson woman was killed in a crash on I-69 Monday afternoon. The Madison County Sheriff’s Department says 74-year-old Linda A Sidwell was driving northbound around noon when she lost control of her car near mile marker 17. Deputies say Sidwell drove off the right side of the interstate, overcorrected and ended up striking a sign. Sidwell was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Deputies say their investigation into the incident is ongoing.
