Two Months After Teacher Let Go, Still No Replacement

The original teacher for a fourth grade class at Montpelier Elementary School was removed in September and now students are waiting still to see who their permanent replacement will be. The Star Press reports teacher Ryan Ingram was removed over what the school says was an incident involving a staff disciplinary matter. Since then, the class has been taught by, first a long term substitute and now a student teacher who has been running the class for three weeks without yet having a license to teach.
