It’s being called the biggest upset in an American Presidential election in recent history.
Indiana and the nation selected Republican Donald Trump as the next President of the United States. Trump and Vice President-Elect Mike Pence won 276 electoral votes over Hillary Clinton in a win that shocked both Democrats and some Republicans. Calling his win “our victory,” Trump declared, “Now it’s time for America to bind the wounds of division.” Voter turnout is being reported as extremely high in many communities.
